Install
npm install @antv/gpt-visOr use pnpm add @antv/gpt-vis / yarn add @antv/gpt-vis.
Render a chart
Add a visible container to your page, then create the instance after the container is mounted. GPT-Vis renders in the browser.
<div id="chart" style="width: 100%; height: 360px;"></div>import { GPTVis } from '@antv/gpt-vis';
const chart = new GPTVis({
container: '#chart',
height: 360,
});
chart.render({
type: 'line',
title: 'Monthly revenue (USD)',
data: [
{ time: 'Jan', value: 12000 },
{ time: 'Feb', value: 18000 },
{ time: 'Mar', value: 15000 },
{ time: 'Apr', value: 24000 },
],
});Use Syntax instead
The same render() method accepts a Syntax string. Choose the format that fits your model or application.
chart.render(`vis line
title Monthly revenue (USD)
data
- time Jan
value 12000
- time Feb
value 18000
- time Mar
value 15000
- time Apr
value 24000`);Reuse a theme
Download a JSON file from Theme Studio, then pass it to the constructor. The instance keeps that theme across subsequent render() calls.
import { GPTVis, type ThemeSpec } from '@antv/gpt-vis';
import theme from './my-theme.json';
const chart = new GPTVis({
container: '#chart',
theme: theme as ThemeSpec,
});
chart.render({ type: 'line', data });
// A later render can use another chart type with the same theme.
chart.render({ type: 'table', data });Each instance renders into one container. To show several charts at once, create an instance for each container and reuse the same theme object.
Clean up
Call chart.destroy() when the component unmounts or the visualization is no longer needed. For framework lifecycle examples, see React and Vue.
